Known professionally as Ichirou Mizuki, Hayakawa Toshio (born January 7, 1948) passed away on December 6, 2022.
His work on anime and tokusatsu theme songs made him a well-known Japanese singer, songwriter, composer, voice actor, and actor.
Over the course of 50 years, he has contributed over 1,200 songs to the soundtracks of Japanese movies, TV shows, and video games.
Mizuki is well-known not just for his singing, but also for his acting in both animated and live-action media.
He has appeared as a guest on Gaki No Tsukai, a Japanese comedic television program.
Last year April of 2021, after his recovery from lung cancer, he revealed he had surgery in June and received therapy treatment, and was also told he would remain active in his profession.
He was just 74 years old when he passed away as a result of the severe lung cancer that he was suffering from.
